White Stripes on Black and Red Nail Art Tutorial

I remember promising somewhere that I will do a review on my UK makeup products. But since school started for me (exactly a day after my Ilocos vacation) I couldn’t find a proper time to blog or if I have the time, I can’t form words in my thoughts.

But here I am today, inspired with nail art yet again.

I may not always blog about nail art, but I love it. I am no pro, but I can paint my own nails, even do art with it. It’s not perfect, I know but for me, it’s acceptable. Not a lot can do that, right?

Anyway here it is, enjoy!

Step 1: Prepare the things you will be needing.

  • Kitchen Napkins to cover the table or surface so you won’t get messy
  • Masking Tape. It’s actually better to use scotch tape because it’s thinner, but since Masking tape is the only tape available in my room, I have no choice.
  • Scissors to cut thin strips.
  • Nail Pusher and Nail Nipper to push and remove tapes from nails.
  • Nail polishes. 1 Base color, 2 or more main colors and 1 clear polish for coating.

Nail Polish Used: NYX Matte Nail Polish in Matte Red, KleanColor Nail lacquer in 112 Golden Nightmare, Coronia Nail Polish in White Satin and Kiss Salon Formula Hard Wear in Clear.

How I do my own French Tips Nails

Hi guys.

Long time no post, huh?

Did you miss me? *sound of crickets*

Awkward…

Anyway, here’s a little pseudo-tutorial on how I do my Frenchies… No, not the kiss, but French Tips on nails! 😛

First get all the things you’ll be needing to do a French Manicure.

  • Scotch/Masking/Packaging Tape (any tape will do just as long as it sticks to your nails)
  • Nail Polish Remover (to fix your manicure boo boos)
  • White Nail Polish (Any color, if you’d like to be adventurous)
  • Clear Nail Polish (I prefer Matte, it doesn’t look skanky)
