Valentines Day Series Part 2: Sweet and Flirty Daytime Valentines Date Look (A colab post with TracedUp!)

I am now on part 2 of my Valentines Day look Series and this is going to be the second to the last look I will do.

This time, it’s a colab with one of my favorite bloggers out there. Ms. Tracy Daroy from Traced Up!

I have been looking for someone to do a colab with for a long time now. And Ms Tracy was so nice to tell me to email her. I was at first shy to ask her because I’m just a newbie haha. But good thing she was sport enough to listen to my proposal.

For this one, I did a Sweet and Flirty Daytime Look (as Ms. Tracy suggested). I hope you enjoy this little tutorial for you. 🙂

Face already Prepped and Primed and Brows already Groomed. If it’s hot outside, it’s better to wear light foundation. You can use any powder or mineralized foundation you own. For this one, I did full foundation since I have a lot to cover.

Step 1: prime lids. It’s important to put primer on your lids to help the e/s stay in place.

Step 2: Apply a light Pink e/s (almost white) as base. You can use cream e/s, Jumbo Eye Pencils or any base you have. I used the almost white e/s so that the darker pink e/s stands out.

Step 3: Get a hot pink or any pink e/s you want. A little trick: wet your brush with a drop of Visine. (in this case, I used contact solution) Just a tiny drop will do and then tap, not swipe, your e/s. Eyedrops will make your colors more vibrant. Make sure you blend your color properly so the color is not uneven on your eyes.

Left: Used with wet e/s brush. Right: Just the e/s.

Step 4: Using your crease brush, take a matte brown e/s and glide it along your crease. Make sure it’s not darker than the pink. If you put too much, don’t worry. We can blend that later on.

Step 5: Using a matte dirty white e/s, blend the brown and the pink together.

Step 6: Using the light pink e/s again, highlight your browbone. Also slightly blending your crease with it.

Step 7: Line your waterline with an eye widener or any white eyeliner you have. With a light brown or light gray eyeliner, line your upper lash line and half of your lower lash line. Then curl and apply mascara.

Step 8: Get a highlighter or any shimmery white e/s and highlight your cheeks. Now using a light pink blusher, apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a fresh, youthful glow.

Step 9: last, take your favorite Pink Lip Cream, Lip Gloss or Lipstick and apply it to your lips. If you want to use lip liner, you can but make sure to not over line your lips.

Finished face:

Please excuse the cakey-ness. 😛
